Jurupa Valley pastor accused of sexually assaulting minor

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. - The lead pastor at New Beginnings Community Church in Jurupa Valley has been arrested, accused of sexually assaulting a minor at church. 

Investigators with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office they were made aware of the incident on November 8th after a girl reported the crime.

Officials say the suspect, 51-year-old Sean Ortiz, sexually assaulted a female parishioner at the church at least twice. Ortiz was located at his house and taken into custody.
