Known gang member accused of shooting 4 homeless people in Playa del Rey
LOS ANGELES - One person is in custody and an arrest warrant has been issued for a woman in connection to a shooting that injured four homeless people in Playa del Rey.
Back on August 18, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call of a shooting near a homeless encampment on Jefferson Boulevard between Culver and Lincoln boulevards. The shooting left four people hospitalized.
All four people shot were believed to be homeless, LAPD said.

On Tuesday, October 19, police arrested a man who LAPD says is a known gang member with an extensive criminal history. An arrest warrant has been issued for a female suspect.
The known gang member is being charged with four felony counts of attempted murder. Officials did not specify the role the female suspect played in the quadruple shooting.
Officials have not released the identities of both suspects.
