Kobe Bryant honored in several tributes at Auto Club Speedway for NASCAR weekend
FONTANA, Calif. - The tributes for Kobe Bryant continued at Sunday's NASCAR race at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana.

Several racers honored the basketball legend in their own way.

Hendricks Motorsports dressed their #24 car with a new scheme, as did Body Armor's #12 car sporting Lakers colors.

The #12 car was driven by racer Ryan Blaney who says he was fortunate to meet Kobe and this was a great way to honor his memory. Merchandise and donations collected during the race will go to mambaonthree.org.

A Lakers fan said he was delighted that NASCAR and Auto Club Speedway were honoring Kobe's memory -- a sign that Kobe transcended the world of sports.

Race car driver Daniel Suarez showed up wearing a Kobe Bryant L.A. Lakers jersey.
Several monitors in the pits displayed Kobe photographs of his time with the Lakers.
The pre-race 'invocation' even included a special mention of Kobe, his daughter Gianna, and the seven other helicopter crash victims.

One of the most popular Kobe tributes at the Auto Club Speedway, however, was located in the Fan Zone -- a giant wall featuring a rendering of Kobe, arms out, and wearing his Lakers uniform.

The wall allowed fans a space and opportunity to write special tribute messages.

Kobe's #8 jersey number and his daughter Gianna's jersey #2 were represented on the wall along with the names of all crash victims.
