All clear after DTLA bomb squad investigation

The LAPD Bomb Squad was called out for reports of a suspicious vehicle in downtown LA Monday, but it turned out to be a false alarm.

Streets in downtown Los Angeles are open again after a brief bomb squad investigation.

The Los Angeles Police Department Bomb Squad was called to a building in the 500 block of Flower Street around 2 p.m. for reports of a suspicious vehicle.

Images from SkyFOX showed multiple blocks had been cordoned off from traffic, and the Bomb Squad's robot had been deployed.

By 4:06 p.m., the LAPD reported that there was no threat to public safety and that streets had been reopened.

It was not immediately clear what led to the investigation.
