At least 1 dead in multiple-car wreck in West LA; Speeding suspected in crash

LOS ANGELES - At least one person is dead in a horrific crash in West Los Angeles.

SkyFOX was over the crash scene near West Olympic Boulevard and Centinela Avenue late Thursday night. The person killed in the crash was pronounced dead at the scene after the car they were in smashed into a tree.

The crash shut down Centinella Avenue for hours before eventually reopening.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
