A store clerk working at a liquor store in Long Beach has been arrested for allegedly selling alcohol to a minor.

Long Beach Police say hours after purchasing alcohol from the Green Diamond Liquor 20-year-old Carlo Adrian Navarro drove into a family of three, killing them all on Halloween night.

On December 17, Vice Investigation Detectives and agents from The California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) arrested 56-year-old Amor Potestades Amacio for furnishing alcohol to a minor resulting in great bodily harm.

Officials say following the crash, the Long Beach Police Department and the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control opened a Target Responsibility for Alcohol Connected Emergencies (TRACE) investigation to find the source of the alcohol.
