Mercedes-Benz nearly hits group of cyclists

A clash broke out between a white Mercedes-Benz driver and a group of cyclists, ending with the driver complaining to LAPD that he got attacked by the bikers in Los Angeles' Mid-Wilshire area.

Shocking video shows a driver deliberately driving close to a crowd of cyclists in Los Angeles' Mid-Wilshire neighborhood.

In the video, a white Mercedes-Benz sedan started swerving towards the cyclists, prompting those at the scene to yell "Hey move!" and "Hey, watch out!"

While there is no official headcount of the number of people impacted by the near-crash incident on January 4, the person sharing the video claimed in the post that the "guy almost kills 100+ bikers."

The Los Angeles Police Department has since taken down a report of the incident, saying it happened on West Olympic Boulevard and South Highland Avenue.

The Mercedes-Benz driver told LAPD they were allegedly assaulted by "multiple cyclists." Police said a vandalism report has since been taken from the incident.

LAPD told FOX 11 that investigators need an ending point of the incident to find additional details.

As of Monday, January 6, no arrests have been announced in connection with the incident.
