UPLAND, Calif. - Upland police arrested a man who was seen on surveillance video assaulting multiple women in two attacks.
Police said the man, identified as 25-year-old Angel Rojas, was seen on video accosting four women after a bar closed on N. 2nd Street in Upland on Halloween weekend. One of the women reportedly got offended by his comments and hit him in the face. After which, the man punched all four women and ran away.
Authorities said the man followed two of the women home to Ontario where he punched them both again, pushed one to the ground and even robbed them.
"Maybe somebody was following us. We did notice. I thought it was the police following us, making sure we got home safe, but it wasn’t. It was him," said Stephanie, who was involved in the attack. She says Rojas also stole her cell phone.
