Man killed after gunfire erupts at Carl’s Jr. parking lot in Palmdale; suspect at large

PALMDALE, Calif. - A man was gunned down in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant in Palmdale Tuesday night. 

The shooting occurred around 8:30 p.m. at the Carl’s Jr. located near the Antelope Valley Mall, located off the intersection of Rancho Vista Boulevard and 10th Street West, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said. 

Arriving deputies discovered a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. 

The victim was rushed to a local hospital where he died, the sheriff’s office said. His identity has not been released. 

The suspect remains on the loose and a description of the gunman was not immediately available.
