Officials said a man was rushed to the hospital after police learned he was shot in the leg. According to police, the shooting victim is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities said that while the shooting was believed to be an attempted robbery, nothing was actually taken from the victim.

Beverly Hills PD says the suspect's car drove off from the scene in a silver Infinity sedan – possibly either an Infiniti G35 or an Infiniti G37 – with dark, tinted windows. The car also has damage to the left rear quarter panel, BHPD reports.

Below is a surveillance photo of the suspect vehicle:

Witnesses told reporters the victim was at the restaurant but went outside -- possibly to retrieve something from his Lamborghini SUV -- and that's when the attempted robbery and shooting occurred.

The investigation is ongoing.
