Man's body found in Sherman Oaks
An investigation was underway Monday after a deadly shooting in Sherman Oaks.
LOS ANGELES - An investigation is underway in Sherman Oaks after a 75-year-old man was shot to death following a dispute with a neighbor overnight.
Officers discovered the man's body around 3:15 a.m. in the area near 14622 Moorpark Street.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the victim suffered a gunshot wound and died at the scene.
Police said the victim and 43-year-old suspect who was taken into custody both lived in the same location. Further details on the dispute were not immediately released.
Homicide detectives remain on scene as the investigation continues.
