Man, woman found dead in Marina del Rey

LOS ANGELES - An investigation continues after a man and a woman were found dead Thursday in Marina del Rey.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies were called to a boat located in the 14000 block of Tahiti Way, near a marina, for a welfare check. That's where deputies discovered a woman's body just before 11:15 a.m. 

A resident who knew the people who lived on the boat alerted law enforcement at the scene of a car parked nearby where they found a man's body inside. 

The identities of the man and the woman have not been released.
