Body found in Long Beach street

LONG BEACH, Calif. - A shooting investigation continues after the body of a male was found in the middle of the street in a Long Beach neighborhood Sunday afternoon.

The body was discovered in the 3300 block of 67th Street, right off the 91 Freeway. The name of the victim has not been released by authorities.

Police said the case may be connected to a bullet-riddled car found blocks away on 68th and Johnson Street.

Information on a suspect or suspects was not immediately released.
