More than dozen puppies in need of forever homes after their mom was found abandoned

Seven huskies and nine shepherds—just nine weeks old—are ready to find loving families!

Ruth Cruz, who has been caring for the puppies since birth, describes them as "really smart" and already trained. "They understand commands, they’re potty trained, I put a piece of turf down, and that’s the only spot they use. They keep their area very clean," she shared.

The puppies' journey began when their mothers—a husky and a shepherd—were abandoned while pregnant in Watts last December. "People said they had been on the street for weeks," Ruth recalled. "They were very, very pregnant and very, very skinny."

We first introduced these adorable pups when they were newborns. Now, they've grown into fluffy bundles of joy, eager to meet their new families.

"It’s been such a joy to have them," Ruth said. "It’s going to be hard to let them go, but I’m excited for them to find their forever homes."
