Motorcyclist killed in crash on 134 Freeway; roads reopened

A motorcyclist crashed into a center divider and was killed Monday morning on the 134 Freeway in Toluca Lake, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 4:25 a.m. on the eastbound Ventura Freeway at Cahuenga Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department's Brian Humphrey. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.

A witness reported that the motorcyclist crashed into the center divider, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP issued a SigAlert shutting down the eastbound 134 Freeway and transitions from the 170 and 101 Freeways to the eastbound 134 Freeway during its investigation and clean-up.

And in Norwalk, a motorist was killed in a rollover crash on the 605 Freeway, authorities said.

It was reported at 5:28 a.m. as a rollover crash involving one vehicle on the 605 at the 105 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The motorist was pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP said.
