They certainly look like traffic signs, and they are certainly attached to official City of LA signs like Turn Only and Wrong Way. It's the latest installation of the British born, LA based street artist: Plastic Jesus. "No Trump Anytime" signs have gone up on Hollywood near the Chinese Theatre, on Melrose and Wilshire in Hollywood, and if you want to see them in person, you better hurry because LA's Department of Transportation will be taking them down soon - they are not legally binding, let alone legal!
Plastic Jesus is the artist behind the controversial Academy Award public art pieces featuring a heroin using Oscar statue, and the "No Kardashian Parking" signs that went up in L.A.
A statement announcing the artwork reads "there have been a lot of protests about presidential favorite Donald Trump's campaign, but none as official looking as this.'
