LOS ANGELES - What organizers bill as the West Coast's largest free New Year's Eve event will be Tuesday evening at Gloria Molina Grand Park, with local and international artists performing global music on two stages and a seven-minute art show projected onto City Hall as the midnight approaches.
Gloria Molina Grand Park's NYELA will begin at 8 p.m. and encompass the six blocks that comprise the park.
The Countdown Stage in the park's Block 4 between Broadway and Spring Street will be hosted by Novena Carmel from KCRW's "Morning Becomes Eclectic," who will spin music from 8-8:45 p.m. and 12:02-12:30 a.m.
