O.C. firefighters rescue several kittens from garage fire in Stanton

STANTON, Calif. (FOX 11) - Firefighters in Orange County came to the rescue of 9 cats who were inside a garage when it caught on fire. 

Firefighters responded to a condo fire on the 8000 block of Catherine Ave. in Stanton around 3:14 a.m. Saturday.

A garage was fully engulfed in flames when officers arrived on scene. The Orange County Fire Authority says crews had the blaze out within 11 minutes of their arrival.

Firefighters searched the garage and found seven kittens inside a box and later discovered two adult cats.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
