Palmdale pursuit ends in shooting

PALMDALE, Calif. - A pursuit in Palmdale ended in gunfire, with two suspects being taken to the hospital.

The deputy-involved shooting occurred in the area of 20th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard before 10 p.m. Friday.

The pursuit stared in the Acton area after officers got reports of a stolen car. 
Investigators say the carjacking suspects stopped and made a run for it, that’s when the shooting occurred. 

It’s unclear who fired the first shots.

Two suspects were injured and taken to the hospital, their condition is not known. The third suspect surrendered at the scene.
