CORONA, Calif. (FOX 11) - The parents of a missing 6-month-old boy will be arrested Monday in connection to the baby's murder, the Culver City Police Department said.
Jacsun Manson was reported missing to police on Jan. 25 by the Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services.
The infant's parents, identified as Adam Manson and Kiana Williams, were arrested by Los Angeles police on another charge and remain in the custody of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
According to witnesses, Jacsun was last seen on Dec. 31, 2018 with his parents, prior to their arrest.
Detectives developed reason to believe that Manson and Williams are responsible for the disappearance and death of their 6-month-old son, authorities said Monday.
The baby's body was never found.
Detectives believe that after his death, Manson and Williams allegedly discarded his body in a dumpster somewhere near the Crenshaw Mall in Los Angeles, according to police.
Culver City Police Department personnel and several volunteers were set to search Monday at the El Sobrante Landfill in Corona, where detectives believe the 6-month-old's body may have ended up.
