OHIO TOWNSHIP, Penn. (FOX 11) - A police patrol car dash cam captures an officer coming to the rescue of an unconscious driver in Pennsylvania.
It started with a 911 call about an erratic driver.
The responding officers found the car on the side of a road with the driver unconscious and no pulse, one of the officers pulled the man out and immediately started CPR.
Eventually the officer got a pulse back just before an ambulance arrived.
The officer thought the man had a heart attack...but it turns out the driver had overdosed on heroin.
The grateful man later called police to thank the officer for saving his life.
He is not being charged.
