Person shot in La Mirada neighborhood

LA MIRADA, Calif. - The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting that left one person hurt in La Mirada Thursday night.

The shooting happened in a residential neighborhood in the 13000 block of Edward Road at about 8:40 p.m. One person was reportedly taken to the hospital by family members.

Aerial video from SkyFOX showed deputies roping off the area and talking to neighbors. Information on the shooter was not immediately known.
