Pursuit suspect arrested in Crenshaw
The driver pulled into a parking lot before bailing out of the car.
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. - A pursuit suspect was taken into custody in the Crenshaw District after leading police on a high speed chase Wednesday.
Authorities had initially responded to a call reporting a stolen vehicle around 5:10 a.m.
The pursuit started in the area of Wilshire and Lucas, then proceeded on to surface streets.
SkyFOX was live overhead when an LAPD patrol SUV responding to the pursuit was clipped by another vehicle which sped away.

SkyFOX's Stu Mundel caught the exact moment a car hit a LAPD patrol vehicle and sped away.
The suspect eventually turned into a parking lot and ditched the car near La Cienega Boulevard and Centinela Avenue.
He tried to run away but was later taken into custody. His identity was not immediately released.
There were no reported injuries.
