Woman in bikini leads police chase along 405 Freeway in LA County

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. - A scantily-clad woman is in custody – but not before leading a police chase along the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles County.

The woman, initially suspected of stealing the white sedan she was in, led police on a pursuit across parts of Hawthorne and Lawndale areas before stopping the car in Inglewood.

The woman hopped out of the car with an unzipped coat on, but only had her bikini on underneath as she surrendered to police.

Officials did not say where the car may have been stolen from. It is also unknown if the woman was wanted for other crimes.
