A driver, initially feared to be armed and dangerous, led an hour-plus car chase from Pomona to the Lancaster area.
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. - A police chase driver is in custody – but not before leading an hour-long police chase across Los Angeles.
SkyFOX was over the scene as the suspect – inside a black sedan – led the California Highway Patrol on a chase on Thursday, June 18.
Over the course of the chase, the suspect – initially believed to be armed and dangerous – drove through parts of Pomona, the Castaic, Newhall, and Santa Clarita before pulling over near the Lancaster area.
The suspect eventually was detained near the Lancaster area where he stopped the car and surrendered.
Officials did not say if he was linked to other crimes.
