Power outage reported at John Wayne Airport

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. - There is currently a power outage at John Wayne Airport terminal.

According to airport officials all inbound flights are being diverted and all outbound flights have been canceled.

Southern California Edison reports that 24,803 customers in Irvine were affected by the outage and that crews had not begun to determine the cause and make repairs. There was no estimated time of restoration.

Meanwhile, a power outage was also reported Friday evening in the Sawtelle and Westwood neighborhoods, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power.
