Reward offered in hit-and-run that killed pregnant mother of five

A $50,000 reward was in effect Wednesday for information that helps authorities find the hit-and-run motorist responsible for fatally injuring a pregnant woman in the South Los Angeles area whose unborn child also was killed.

Reward offered in hit-and-run that killed pregnant mother of five

Keisha Saravina, 38, was killed in a hit-and-run in Sout L.A. on July 26.

Keisha Saravia, 38, who was nine months pregnant, was fatally injured on July 26 as she crossed a street near her residence on Main Street south of 117th Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

No description was released of the motorist or vehicle.

The reward, offered by the Los Angeles City Council, "may convince a reluctant family member or person close to him or her to come forward and provide information that will result in the location and arrest," a police
statement said.
