Cliff rescue underway in San Pedro

Rescue efforts were underway after a man fell down a cliff in San Pedro on Tuesday morning.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. - A rescue was underway in San Pedro Tuesday morning after a man went over the side of the cliff, fire officials said.

Los Angeles County lifeguards confirmed a man fell an estimated 100 feet over the side of the cliff and is currently unresponsive.

LA County's Marine Division is launching LAFD divers from the boat to assist with the situation.

No further information was immediately available.
