Santa Ana Police seek 4 robbery suspects seen on video attacking a pair of teens

Santa Ana police Thursday sought the public's help catching four suspects who attacked and robbed a pair of teens.

The robbery happened just before 10 p.m., Dec. 30, near Wilshire Avenue and Ross Street, police said.

Two teenage boys were walking west on Wilshire east of Ross when a tan, older-model Honda Accord with a sunroof stopped and the four suspects got out. The suspects questioned the victims about gang affiliations and demanded their belongings.

When the victims refused and ran away, the suspects chased and attacked them. One of the victims was hit with a baseball bat before the suspects took their belongings and fled.

Anyone with information was asked to call detectives at 714-245-8323 or email dprewett@santa-ana.org. Orange County Crime Stoppers will accept anonymous tips at (855) TIP-OCCS.
