Scarlett Johansson taken to Los Angeles police station after paparazzi incident

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (FOX 11) - Actress Scarlett Johansson was taken to the Los Angeles Police Department Hollywood station after a taping of the Jimmy Kimmel Live show.

LAPD says The Avengers star was overpowered by paparazzi and her security detail decided to take her to the police station.

It's unclear if any crime was committed but police are looking into it.

Johansson is said to be in good spirits and safe transport for her was arranged following the incident.

Authorities did not immediately release additional information.
