SCE: Power outage left 11,000 customers without electricity in Huntington Beach
HUNTINGTON BEACH (CNS) - An outage that at one point had at least 11,000 customers without electricity in Huntington Beach, is now down to 491, a utility spokesperson said today.
The outage occurred at 10:51 p.m. Saturday and was due to a broken cross arm in the area of Brookhurst Street and Atlanta Avenue that had originally left at least 11,000 customers in the dark, said Caroline Aoyagi of Southern
California Edison.
As of 7:06 a.m., the number is down to 491, Aoyagi said, with complete restoration expected by 10 p.m.
