Security guard assaulted at Hollywood Ralphs grocery store

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (FOX 11) - A security guard at a Ralphs grocery store in Hollywood was assaulted Tuesday evening.

The incident happened at about 7 p.m. in the 700 block of West Sunset Boulevard. Los Angeles police say a couple of security guards approached the suspect and at some point, one of the guards got assaulted.

A description of the suspect is not known at this time. A medical unit from the Los Angeles Fire Department is on scene to check on the security guard but their condition is unknown at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
