South LA taco truck robbed at gunpoint

Two men violently robbed a taco truck in South Los Angeles over the weekend, and now police are searching for the suspects.

Police are investigating after a man was assaulted during the armed robbery of a taco truck in South Los Angeles overnight. 

It happened Sunday just before midnight near the intersection of 103rd Avenue and S. Avalon Boulevard. 

The armed suspect, described as a man between 26 and 30-years-old, approached the truck and ordered the workers inside to hand over cash -- while physically holding a man at gunpoint, police said.

LAPD investigating taco truck robbery

Security cameras captured the robbery in South LA overnight.

He then demanded cash from that man before he and his accomplice, a man between 18 and 20-years-old, fled the scene in a vehicle described as possibly a white Honda accord.

Police said the victim was not seriously hurt.
