Student stabbed outside Benjamin Franklin High School in Highland Park
LOS ANGELES - An investigation is underway after a stabbing incident involving two students at Benjamin Franklin High School in Highland Park.
The incident happened around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in front of the campus located at 820 N. Ave 54 North of the 110 Parkway.
A suspect was taken into custody.
According to a LAUSD spokesperson, the school was placed on lockdown temporarily and all operations are resuming normally.
No other students or staff were impacted, officials said.
