LA HABRA, Calif. - La Habra High School was briefly placed on lockdown Tuesday when a freshman student was found in possession of a gun.
Police said the student was detained and the lockdown was lifted shortly before 12 p.m. The gun was not loaded.
No injuries were reported.
The 14-year-old suspect was taken into custody and is currently at the La Habra police city jail getting charged with possession of a gun on a school campus. Authorities said more charges are possible.
