Authorities provide update after student stabbed on campus in Los Angeles
A student at Miguel Contreras Learning Complex in Los Angeles was stabbed on campus Wednesday afternoon, and authorities are still searching for the suspect.
LOS ANGELES - A high school student in Los Angeles was stabbed on campus Wednesday afternoon, the Los Angeles School Police Department confirmed to FOX 11.
The incident happened at 12:45 p.m. at Miguel Contreras Learning Complex, located at 322 Lucas Ave. in Los Angeles. School police responded to the high school on a call for an assault with a deadly weapon and found the victim suffering from two stab wounds.

Student stabbed on LA school campus
A high school student at Miguel Contreras Learning Complex in Los Angeles was stabbed on campus Wednesday afternoon, the Los Angeles School Police Department confirmed to FOX 11.
The victim, a 17-year-old male student, was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
Around 3 p.m., school police announced they had a suspect in custody. Police say the suspect is another student. The students had been reportedly arguing days before the stabbing. The suspect was arrested off campus.

The school was placed on lockdown, but that was lifted in the evening.
