Surveillance video shows no evidence of foul play in death of Malcolm Harsch
VICTORVILLE, Calif. - New surveillance video shows that foul play was not involved in the death of Malcolm Harsch.
The body of the 38-year-old man was found hanging from a tree in Victorville on May 31st.
Detectives say they obtained surveillance video from a vacant building near the location where Harsch was found.
The video confirmed the absence of foul play. Detectives say they met with his family and showed them the video upon their request.
Officials say although there remains no sign of foul play, the forensic pathologist is waiting for toxicology results before assigning the cause and manner of death.
The body of Harsch was found just days before a man in his 20’s was found hanging from a tree near Palmdale City Hall.
A preliminary coroner’s report showed that Robert Fuller’s death appeared to be a suicide, but the investigation is still ongoing.
Several protests and rallies have been held in Palmdale as the community is demanding justice and urging law enforcement to make an arrest in Fuller's death.
