Driver crashes into Gold's Gym

A driver fled from police after crashing into the front entrance of a Gold's Gym in North Hollywood.

The driver jumped out of the car and fled on foot. He ran through an alley and into a nearby office building with officers chasing behind him.

People inside the building ran outside when they saw the suspect enter, Lt. Morgan said. Officers set up a perimeter and contained the area as the suspect continued to barricade inside.

Police say the suspect was in a stolen car.

An employee inside the gym was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Officers were later able to find the driver and take him into custody.
