Suspect arrested after fleeing into parking lot of Northridge Target store
NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Police have arrested a suspect that drove into the parking lot of a Northridge Target and fled on foot after a pursuit Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the area of Balboa Blvd. and Nordhoff St Wednesday afternoon after a pursuit ended in the parking lot of the Target store.
According to police the suspect drove into the parking lot and fled on foot; police searched the area and took the suspect into custody.
Shortly after the pursuit ended LAPD Bomb Squad arrived on scene due to reports of a suspicious vehicle.
The bomb squad gave the all-clear several hours later.
It is not known if Target temporarily closed due to the incident.
