MOORPARK, Calif. - The person suspected of killing a Moorpark man has been charged with his murder, the Ventura County District Attorney announced on Tuesday.
Elsworth Cadle, 67, of Moorpark appeared in Ventura County Superior Court Tuesday to face murder charges in the death of Mark Milton.
The complaint also alleges that Cadle personally used a firearm causing death, said the D.A.'s office.

The victim was found shot dead inside a U-Haul truck at a storage facility located in the 800 block of W. Los Angeles Avenue in the city of Moorpark on Jan. 3. The deadly shooting occurred at about 2:20 p.m. At approximately 11:14 p.m. the same day, deputies located and arrested Cadle.
A firearm was recovered during the investigation. A motive for the killing has not yet been released but authorities believe a dispute between the suspect and victim occurred prior to the shooting.
Cadle is currently in custody at the Ventura County Jail with bail set at $3 million. His arraignment was continued until Feb. 7.
