Suspect Robs Little Kid of New Bike at Ted Watkins Park in Los Angeles

Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department Parks Bureau are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect who is wanted for a Strong-Armed Robbery that occurred at Ted Watkins Park (1335 East 103rd Street, Los Angeles) on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at approximately 12:20 p.m.

The 11-year-old victim had just won a bicycle ("Micardi Civoli" Beach Cruiser, Black frame, Green rims and White seat) during a Halloween celebration, when the suspect approached the young boy and forcefully pulled the bicycle from his grasp. The suspect then placed a small female child onto the handlebars and rode the bicycle away. Although the young boy and his mother chased after the suspect, they were unable to catch him.

The suspect, who was positively identified by the young boy and his mother through pictures taken at the event, is described as a male, Hispanic between the ages of 30 and 35. He weighs approximately 200 lbs. and stands five feet 10 inches tall. The suspect also has a "StL" tattoo on his left arm and neck.
