Fiery crash causes power outage in Riverside
The driver failed a sobriety test, authorities said.
RIVERSIDE, Calif. - A suspected drunk driver was arrested Wednesday after she crashed into a power pole, cutting power to nearly 1,500 residents near the Galleria at Tyler mall, according to authorities.
The suspect also sheared off a nearby fire hydrant.
Police said the suspect also failed a field sobriety test and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of DUI.
No other information was immediately available.
