Suspects flee, 2 injured in Sherman Oaks home invasion robbery
SHERMAN OAKS (FOX 11/CNS) - A man was shot in the arm Wednesday and another person suffered a graze wound in a home-invasion robbery in the Sherman Oaks area.
The crime occurred about 6 a.m. in the 15000 block of Valley Vista Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The man with the arm wound was hospitalized in stable condition, police said. The person with the graze wound was treated at the scene.
According to police, two men entered the home through a sliding glass door at the rear of the residence and robbed the occupants at gunpoint. The suspects fled with an unknown amount of valuables in two vehicles -- a black Ford Expedition SUV and a black 3-series BMW sedan, police said.
