Teen boy injured by stray bullet in Inglewood

INGLEWOOD,Calif. (FOX 11) - One person was injured by a stray bullet in Inglewood Monday evening.

The shooting happened on Monday at about 6:30 p.m. on 3200 block of 112th and Inglewood.

The victim is believed to be only 13-years-old and believed to have been shot in the back.

Police believe he is an innocent victim of the shooting and the shooter may have been targeting a group of men standing on the block.

There were bullet casings up and down the street.

Authorities have served a search warrant on a home in the area, but have not yet located the suspect.

The victim was taken to the hospital and we're told he went into surgery and is in stable condition.
