LOS ANGELES - Tensions between MAGA Trump supporters and Black Lives Matter protesters escalated at various rallies on Saturday.
With the election drawing near, both sides are coming head to head more often.

A social media post calling on Trump supporters to create a MAGA mural near the BLM street painting on Hollywood and Highland, attracted counter-protesters who put out their own social media posts looking for people to “protect the sign."
No MAGA mural went up, mostly because another large group was already there.

Still, they met, and clashed, again at the weekly Beverly Hills protests.
Police did eventually have to declare the whole thing an unlawful assembly. Law enforcement, off-camera, saying they are bracing for more of the same, until (and probably past) election night.
