(FOX News) - NFL legend and mega-sportscaster John Madden turns 80 today.
As Madden rings in this new decade, plenty of people have taken the opportunity to look back on the Hall of Famer's life and his extraordinary impact on the game we all know and love as football.
Madden rose to fame as the Super Bowl-winning head coach of the Oakland Raiders. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2006.
After his NFL career, Madden went on spend three decades as one of sports' most iconic broadcasters. NBC Sports chief Dick Ebersol called him "absolutely the best sports broadcaster who ever lived."
