'Tim the Turkey' found covered in beer, most of his tail feathers missing and in poor health

Covered in stale beer, injured and missing most of his tail feathers, that's how Tim the turkey was found, wandering the streets of Orange. Yes, Tim is a turkey, and he disappeared this weekend from the Orange High School pen, where animals are kept for the school's award winning agriculture program.

Agricultural teacher Patti Williams put the animals photo on Facebook, and OC Animal Care got a call Sunday from a group of people that found the struggling animal near Glassell Street.

Two Chapman University students have been arrested and identified by Orange County Sheriff as Steven Koressei, a 23 year old lacrosse player, and 21 year old Richard Brenton Melbye.

Chapman University released a statement saying that "In addition to any criminal charges from OPD, the university will also undertake appropriate disciplinary actions." Orange County investigators are still going over possible charges against the two. Williams adds that aside from the sticky substance on him, Tim had bruises all over, swelling, troubled breathing, a broken toe and is missing quite a bit of his tail.
