TMZ: Rapper Nipsey Hussle dead at 33 after being shot in South LA

Rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed on Sunday and two other men were wounded outside a clothing store in South Los Angeles, according to TMZ.

The shootings happened about 3:20 p.m. in the 3400 block of Slauson Avenue, near the intersection of Victoria Avenue, authorities said.

Hussle, 33, whose real name was Ermias Asghedon, was pronounced dead at a hospital, reports said.

The shooting was in front of The Marathon Clothing, a store opened by Hussle in 2017, sources said.

A member of Nipsey's team tells TMZ the rapper was gunned down Sunday in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, south of the Crenshaw area.

TMZ was told he was at his clothing store called the Marathon Clothing Company. He opened the place back in 2017.
