Toddler with rare disease given ray of hope with recent medical discovery
(Right This Minute) - Jude is one of 53 children suffering from Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata (RCDP), and at 18-months-old, is living almost twice as long as doctors predicted.
Though RCDP has no known cure, there has been a glimmer of hope found in a drug used to treat Alzheimer's.
Treatment is expensive though, so a song was written for Jude to raise awareness, and a GoFundMe was set up so all touched by his story could help him to potentially have a happy ending.
Check out Jude's GoFundMe here.
