Top Property: $5.5M Spanish Colonial Revival in Toluca Lake
SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, Calif. (FOX 11) - This week's Top Property takes us to this named estate in the San Fernando Valley's Toluca Lake.
LAMERICA Real Estate's Rick Albert explains 4352 Forman Avenue is known as the Klump Estate because it was built and designed by early 20th-century real estate developer, William Klump. Klump built several homes in Toluca Lake in the 1920s and 1930s, including this one in 1926.
This more than 6,400 sq. ft. home is a Spanish Colonial Revival that offers 5 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms.
Though it was restored in 2012, it maintains its architectural integrity with coved windows, archways, and barreled-ceilings. The ironwork, oak floors, Calco tiled fireplaces, and antiqued dumbwaiter are also original to the home, making them almost 100 years old.
Modern upgrades include the 1,000 bottle temperature controlled wine cellar in the downstairs recreation area that spans more than 1,200 sq. ft.
Outside, the saltwater pool, among the citrus trees and entertaining spaces, is also new. The property also includes guest quarters.
The asking price for this 1926 Classic Klump Estate is $5,500,000.
